Marc Johnson — Founder & Creative Director

I’ve spent more than 20 years working in design and advertising, leading creative work for businesses including some of the UK’s biggest brands.

Over that time, I’ve learned that the strongest creative work rarely starts with an idea. It starts with understanding.
That thinking became Soul.

I spend a lot of my time listening, asking questions and helping businesses step outside their own thinking. Often, the challenge isn’t that the business isn’t good enough, it’s that the people they want to reach don’t understand it as clearly as they do.

My role is to find that clarity and turn it into branding, websites and communication that feel right for the business and make sense to the people choosing it.

Over the years, my work has been recognised through design and advertising awards, featured in creative publications and included in industry journals.

Yes.
Soul works with businesses across Europe, with a particular focus on Germany and southern Bavaria. We work remotely and provide branding, messaging, website and creative support for businesses looking to connect with English-speaking customers.
